I hv a dvd player . Pls tell me if i buy a RCA cabl;e to HDMI cable tom connect my dvd to my lcd tv, will it work? any other options pls.

HDMI can only be connected to other HDMI or connected to DVI-digital. That are the only 2 cables possible for HDMI because HDMI is fully digital signal. In case of a DVI-to-HDMI cable you need an extra cable for the sound

I think just a cable won't do ..you require a converter to convert RCA out put to HDMI

You need to look at what kind of outlets your DVD player has. Not all DVD players may have HDMI outlet. in that case, you'll waste your money.
