Unless nature of his selfishness and the relation in between is understood, it seems very difficult to solve the problem. Better to make a complaint in guise to the higherer authority.

Give lots of personal information of ur boss to his wife. i.e. secratry and ur boss relations. (female)clients and ur boss' appointment. Just do attachment with his wife for lessoning him very well. Is it useful Idea to u ??

By ingratiating yourself to the most powerful. It is often that power is not held by those who have titles. If the person who calls the shots or pulls the string is on your side, you can teach a lesson by simply imitating him.
