Anil and Navin Agarwal of "Vedanta Resources" - a london based mining group.It purchased Sesa Goa in 2007 at $ 981 million beating the bids of Arcelor mittal.

51% is owned by a london based group Vedanta resources. Vedanta resources is listed on London stock exchange. This co is into Minerals and Minning. Sterlite Industries (Copper & copper mining) , Hindustan Zinc (Zinc & Zinc mining) , Bharat Aluminium (Aluminium) is owned by Anil Agarwal's Vedanta resources
