If I buy ITC shares today the 29th it will get recorded in my demat account on 4th august which is also the record date for bonus shares. would I get the bonus shares?

The record date is 04 aug and if you have buy today also, you will get your bonus shares

I have a DEMAT account at Sharekhan Limited, and I use Online trading method. I bought ITC shares today 29th and I see them on 30th. Why do you have to wait too 4th? Explain Are you doing it manually?
