Q.
It is getting open ended in this month and i have received a letter
from the fund manager in which i have been asked to inform them
whether i want to encash the units or convert the units in other
schemes of the fund.what should i do?

Hi Vineet,
In my opinion you should not encash the units or else you should transfer your no. of units to Another Equity Diversified Fund of Morgan Stanley as all Equity based MF schemes are not performing well now, you need to hold this investment for at least 3 yrs now, so that you can earn at least 25 % returns on this investment, otherwise withdrawal will lead to losses right now. You can check NAV's of all mutual funds on www.ampfiindia.com,www.valueresearchonline.com
