Gopinath Munde is asking for two impossible things. Firstly, he want to head the BJP efforts in the next Maharashtra elections. L.K. Advani has been vehemently opposing it. BJP feels that Munde is trying to blackmail them. Secondly, Munde wants that Shivsena should form an alliance with MNS because he believes Shivsena and BJP alliance did not win last elections because they fought against MNS. It is a proposal not acceptable to Shivsena and MNS both. Shivsena wants that the final say would be of Bal Thakaray and Udhav Thakaray. Raj Thakre would loose his identity under such arrangement therefore to him also this proposal is not acceptable. Another school of thought is that Gopinath Munday would soon turn to become congressman. Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today said, 'Wait and watch'.

No wonder Gopinath Munde was absent at BJP's crisis meeting because he himself is the crisis.
