I don't have PAN CARD for opening SBI account. Can i submit Form-60 as a identity proof instead of pan card?

Now a days PAN card is essential, even you are not a tax payer. There are lots agent and you can yourself apply for it. Within 30-45 days you will get it. You can open the account by your Voter ID, driving licence. You can submit as soon as you get the pan card.

Hmmm you can do but after month you have to make PAN CARD because its mandatory document...if you not make it than you account will be close , i think

I think may be Voter ID could do....but PAN card is best since u r it takes care of u'r TAX payement on A/C and any linked FD's!!!! Try getting a PAN card....itz not et difficult.....Form 60 wud not be accepted.

You can produce driving licence; form 60 is for making big transaction .. a declaration made by you indemnifying the bank ..
