I bet MY neighbor 1lakh rupees that my dog could jump higher than his house. Thinking this not possible, the neighbor took the bet an lost.

1.

Dog can jump higher than a building; a typical building can't jump. Just count how high the base went from the ground. A dog would jump about a foot high while a building will just stand still.
