but not the educated class
So the need is to educate and improve the literacy levels
only tht can bring in a major change

Not exactly-in that case tata/birla would have decided election results since 1947 and would not have let any other person become a billionare except themselves and oligarchy would have replaced democracy much earlier.

Not always does this hold true....sometimes ppl emotion work a lot....just caste a look to the 1989 election wherein Rajiv's Congress faced the abject defeat whereas the same party had achieved a sweeping win in 1985 election ....the reason of defeat in 1989 is Bofors & Fairfax, whereas the win of 1985 may be attributed to the sympathy for Rajiv on the assassination of Madam Gandhi by her own security men.....

Not true always=There are other factors also like anti incumbency the history of the candidate and the present political and economic issues
For examples post emergency Congress was routed including the Gandhi's)Seventy seven General election)
