Jagan Reddy may be popular politician in AP, but we should not forget that he was jailed for a long period of time in a case of corruption. Of course in the quagmire of the intricate politics in AP today, where there are various factions like dissidents in Congress, TRS, TDP and Jagan's YSR Congress. Jagan by appreciating Modi is actually trying to increase his popularity and align himself to Modi who as an individual is very popular.
As regards which parties will support Modi, my answer is selected few. All the others are sitting on the fence, some even dreaming of being a future PM in case a third front govt comes to power. Otherwise they will support the horse amongst UPA or NDA based on what they get in return, even if it means aligning and forming the govt with a pary which does not have highest number of seats.
