I am unable to open and delete the mails and when ever i click getting small window shows that stay connected or close this page.

Better switch over to Rediff New and try deleting things there, it works, when I did the same...!

Quite likely connection to the server is lost temporarily. It happens often with rediff server, your server fire fox or your local server etc. It should become alright in a few minutes or hrs. You can restart your computer when that happens and try. If it had happened for other reasons it would become alright.
