Yes AKT-3 is an antitubercular drug. it is used in case of infertility if doc suspect TB of fallopian tubes. may be ur doc didn't explain u the reason of prescribing it. U have have a right to know ask him/her. some times it is given as emperical treatment even if reports for TB r normal.

I am undergoing treatment for infertility and having akt3 for the past 2 months . I have consulted and reconsulted many gynaec all recommend this even if you dont have TB. SO no worries but check your fallopian tubes either through HSG or Hysteroscopy
