What is old and new thinking is not precisely defined and distinctively identified. What is appropriate at a given time is dictated by circumstances surrounding it and the system involved it. We as part of that system should be flexible enough to adopt to changes that are deemed necessary for improvement if it calls for it. We can't remain rigid and hope for improvisation of our status and at the same time we can't be too flexible to bend our foundation to a point of destruction. A systematic change in people's mindset occurs at varying speed depending on what's the educational, social, economical status of that community or group is. Definitely one should be ready to bear the fruits of changes he/she is making in the system.
