I am searching the windows xp os required for formatting a pc .But i need its full name to search.There are many like windows xp home edition,professional edition etc.I want to know that exactly which one i need.Please tell me.

Now windows xp is obsolete; you wond be able to down load even it was not obsolete. Now windows 7 or 8 can be chosen and purchased but it can not be downloaded. If you take your pc to a vendor, he can format and reload your computer with the older person for petty amount.
