Basavangudi, Malleswaram, Rajajinagar, Chamarajpet are all old areas and prices will be very high. Koramangala is IT ridden and prices are beyond anyone's reach. You can try to purchase a house property at Mathikere, BEL Road if you want in north or between Hulimaavu and Jigani (which is too far) if you want one in south. It all depends on your budget and your need.
