The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, provides training in the production of film. The courses include 3-year PG diplomas in cinematography, direction and editing for graduates and a 3-year PG diploma in audiography for those with Physics in Class XII. It also offers a 2-year PG diploma in acting, as well as certificate courses in film screenplay writing, film direction, video editing and television engineering.
The National School of Drama, New Delhi, offers an intensive 3-year PG degree course in dramatics. The Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC), Jamia Millia Islamia. New Delhi, conducts a 2-year MA in Mass Communication.
