Without commenting directly on the question let us investigate the status of major political parties which are in opposition to the present govt. BJP being the secular party of your choice would definitely have its alliance with shiv sena, maharastra navanirman sena, akali, etc. and who can say the list will not include AIADMK, AGP, BJD and so many others. Above all they have fighters like bajrang dal and rss which are needless to mention. BJP may also shed tears for those tamils who were killed in the civil war in sri lanka and that will certainly have an impact in the coming election. Now comes the post poll status of such alliance. A secular marathi under a shiv sena banner would have to keep his promise to his people by driving away north indian people from maharastra, and in assam bjp will take a similar charge to fight with bengalees and biharis. While a group of tamils will engage them for a fight with sri lanka. Would they be able to keep all these promises? I don't think so. T ...more

Many eyebrows are raised when BJP focuses on Hindu agenda?

Why is there so heated debate on manifesto of BJP?

Is it not due to mere jealousy and fear of BJP winning the battle of election?

After all what is wrong in focusing and stressing on Hindutwa agenda when Congress Party and so called other secular parties are all flourishing by appeasement of some cste or other , specifically that of Muslims for last sixty years.

Politics of Indian National Congress party depended on the votes of Muslims and SCST for fifty long years. After two or three disintegration of Congress party, so many small political parties took birth and they have been indulging on caste based politics since long and this dirty politics is being perpetuated truly by all regional or other Non BJP parties. Even left parties which focused mainly on employee classes have started appeasing Muslims in selected areas for their survival in Indian politics.
