Ratan Tata. I greatly admire his global vision. That is responsible for many Tata companies becoming global today.

My most admired Indian Industrialist has always been Dhirubhai Ambani for his never say die spirit & sky high acheivements which can seldom be matched.
Career:
At the age of 17 went to Aden (now part of Yemen) and worked for A. Besse & Co. Ltd., the sole selling distributor of Shell products.
In the year 1958 returned to Mumbai and started his first company, Reliance Commercial Corporation, a commodity trading and export house.
In the year 1966, as a first step in Reliances highly successful strategy of backward integration, he started the textile mill in Naroda, Ahmedabad.

Undoubtedly JRD Tata. He laid the ifoundations of aviation , transport , steel , metallurgical industries in those times when they were absolutely un thoght of..n he did it on his own without any State's support..or rather with Britishers's stiff resistance.
We must salute such grand personality.
