I am having a ppf account fro the year 21-3-1991 . Now its a 22yrs now i have to close the account or i can extend the account by withdrawl the amount. Can any body answer me plzx . Fast its urgent

1. U can close the A/C & withdraw the money. Get Income tax benefit in TSC ( Tax Saving Scheme) with the Banks with more interest but with 5/3 years minimum lock-in period !!
2. But, extending the a/c will allow U to withdraw very limited amount as per their peculiar formula !!

Yes,, u can,, any days u wish :D lock in period is only 15 years,, and after that block of 5 years,, but u can close any day u wish
