I am an orphan,i am doing m-tech in vlsi,is there any chance to do phd in other countries ?

What's being an orphan got to do with it ? - for passport purposes' ? - the passport form may have a provision for orphans' - sure there is a scope for phd in other countries - should try US/ NZ
