I am a great fan of Subash Chandra Bose, the war general of India in WWII and have visted his museum in Kolkata. Why does he not have his own national holiday?

Holidays make people lazy ... instead other things should be done to keep his memories alive... for example we can have an award in his name to honour brave people in the society...to include his biography as a compulsory chapter in the schools.. govt. can fund research work on his work by historians...

There are many people supporting many freedom fighter for celebrating their birthday as national holiday...but the fact is 3 national holidays are enough...anything more shall dilute the importance of a national holiday...

There are any freedom fighters and if we keep giving holidays like this for everyone then we have to sit at home and fight another independence war soon.I believe there should be less holidays and more working days like japan.we should remember such great men like netaji on his birthday and make new generation more aware about their sacrifice and struggle on their birthday.

Subhas Chandra Bose was a name which should have given equal emphasis as like Mahatma Gandhi, Pundit Nehru, and other moderate leaders of freedom movement.....but again itz dirty dynastic Politics which shows itz grim face in this issue....

Only gandhi jayanthi is declared as holiday and not other days. gandhi jayanthi is declared as holiday because gandhiji was father of nation and also instrumental in india getting independence
