I am bit orthodox and knew 4 old stages as was defined by Maharishies

Bromhocharya
Girhosto
Banoprostho
Sannyas

All the sectors were validated for 20 years each and was religiously followed till it was stepped into Kolikal .People became more and more greedy, started wine - ing, womanizing from early ages with all sort of bad vices .All those stages were completely forgotten and people started leading uncontrolled life .

Pitamoho Bramha was very angry with such acts and he reduced the life of man to 25 years !!! As people realized the impact, they were really shocked and ashamed. They changed their style and started Bromhocharya, religiously for 20 years and 5 years for Girhostho .It continued for centuries and with request from public ,a group of representative gave a deputation to Pitamoho Bromha. Sir, you have punished us enough and please give us some more years to enjoy our hard work of Bromhacharya ? ...more
