I have known one notorious criminal who got killed in an encounter with the police some time back. He , as a hired killer has killed atleast 23 men and wounded atleast a hundred. But through out his life he has never injured a woman or child. In fact during the encounter he has saved the life of a woman by pushing her away from the bullets. One of the police officer who has participated in the encounter narrated this to us. What do you think about him?

I guess nobody is above human emotions.... I remember watching many movies, especially Tarantino's Pulp Fiction where you'll find lot of violence, drugs, arms, sex, forgery and all other forms of crime. But the characters in those movies are also moved by some particular emotion. However it is a different thing that they don't deserve any mercy from us. They are dangerous for us.

(I gave the example of movie because I have not seen any hard core criminal in my life in real terms. Btw Pulp Fiction is also liked because of it's realism. )

As the word suggests "HARD CORE" it definately means that their inner core is stone hard. They can surely never have evn 1% of humanism in them.Who are hard core criminals? They are not the local goons. They are people like osama or dawuud. And now if som1 sayz there iz some goodness in them ,then either the person iz a peracher or a saint.See ajmal kasab ....evn aftr killing 100's of people....do you think he hasany sort of feelings for thm?????
Now its upto u to decide wether they have some Goodness or not????????????
