It was a horrible cocktail of fear , humiliation and pain .........I was allotted the first row seat closest to door . Before take off , a thin air-hostess closed the heavy door . Being in the first row I had serious doubt that the heavy door would have not been closed properly by that thin girl because I will be first one to be thrown out , if the door opens during journey . I called Captain and told my doubt . Captain and nearby passengers started laughing loudly ...you can imagine my embarrassment and humiliation .

And then that nagging pain in the ears ...it continued whole journey ..putting cotton balls in the ear was of no use ...even after landing , it took another 15 minutes or so to come back to normal . Please don't laugh ...now it is ok

No Fear .Enjoy the First Flight From Delhi to Mumbai in 1992 .since the aircraft was 747 Jumbo so never had much fear during Flight .
