He is the American national from whose computer a threatening e-mail was sent on the day of the Ahmedabad blasts, from his Internet Protocol address. He was being questioned by the police in the blast case but managed to leave the country without the security personnel realising it!

US national Kenneth Haywood, whose stealthy exit has left the Anti-Terrorism Squad red-faced, was a familiar figure at the Potter's House prayer hall, which closed four days after the serial Ahmedabad bomb blasts and has since stayed shut.

The Potter's House church is part of a worldwide organisation called the Christian Fellowship Missionaries (CFM). Their church in Sanpada is apparently the only one in Maharashtra although one new member said there was another centre at Dharavi. This could not be verified. The organisation has in the past faced allegations of forced conversion. According to sources, Haywood was a key member of the CFM in India, especially in Navi Mumbai.

Potter House has about 40 members who gathered every Sunday. Local shopkeepers say that the sermons were held behind closed doors. He is USA citizen and was posted in India. Terror email sent beore recent Gujarat Blasts were traced back to his computer internet protocol address at Navi Mumbai. He has not fleed back to US along with his family.
