A horse race gambler, a stock market dealer or player knows the value of good advices in monetary terms. A patient understands the value of a good advice by his life.

Sourav Ganguly, went to Australia unheeded to practice batting in Brisbane under watchful eyes og Greig Chapel in 2002 prior to India's visit down under. That series saw Sourav hitting the Aussie bowlers like a butcher and setting the tune of the tour my his captain's knock of 143 in Gabba Brisbane. But ironically, that adviser became his nemesis. So what a big price for a good advice.

Narendra Nath Dutta became Swami Vivekananda simply under the influence of an illiterate Ramkrishna Paramhansa.

Arabindo Ghosh became Rishi Arabondo, founder of Chokecherry Ashrama being influenced by good advices

And lastly Rajat Gupta is in jail in USA after giving so many good advices to so many reputed American firms. So, the value of good advices has to measured from case to case basis.

Good or bad , I have a great allergy of giving and taking uncalled for advices. I owe my little success to having listened respectfully to the very best advices, and then going away and if it is not to my own belief , doing the exact opposite:)))....that way , the man giving advice will be happy because he is least bothered whether I am acting as per advice .... some people have this only passion of giving unwanted advices :)))
