Q.

An Auto costs Rs 4 Lakh and one has to pay another lakh if its brought on EMI. Keeping this fact in mind, I think Nano Car launched by TATA at Rs. 1 Lakh can be a great value for money thus would you support my idea that Government should allow Auto Drivers to switch to it as I feel its a cheaper and comfortable alternative and will be much better for commuters and drivers as well. Discuss.

Who said an Auto costs 4 lakhs ? It costs 2 lakhs . And the car doesnt cost 1 lakh it costs 1.4 lakhs( the base model) . So a difference of 3 lakhs comes down to only 60,000 .

Yes, very much agree with you. but we have to watch the realy value of the car of 1Lakh when it runs on the road. If it seems worthy then may be some step will be taken by all the government for better travelling.

i feel you have a great idea there , its better if the govt does away with the rickshaws and gives all those drivers a nano in replacement to their old autos
so when you go next time you will not call AUTO AUTO
you will say NANO NANO

HAVE A JOLLY RIDE IN THE NANO RICKSHAW

TATA.

What u say is true, but u know these auto fellows are a real menace on the roads. they have no road discipline. They r the cause of traffic jams. and with such comfortable car, they will create much havoc. Atleast, this is the condition in Mumbai.

Check your facts again. An auto does not cost Rs. 4 lakh. It must not be costing more than a lakh. Nano anyway would be a good economical car and can replace autorickshaws. That is why Bajaj is paying to all environmentalists for this.
