Hi Anagha, there are no short cuts to success and quick weight loss. To get something, you have to lose something. Crash diets and fasting are commonly mistaken for losing quick weight. Losing 1 kg in a week is not too feasible. But, you can alter and modify your diet by cutting down on milk, cream(dairy products. Choose skimmed milk instead of full fat milk, cheese, paneer. Increase intake of carbohydrates, fish, chicken, protein, olives and nuts. Cardio exercises at the gym, taking the stairs instead of lift/elevator, going for an hour of jog, regular brisk walks, cycling, swimming. Dance and Aerobic acitivy can help keep excess weight at bay and helps you maintain desirable weight. Don't skip meals.Regular balanced diet in correct proportions containg fibre and vitamins,minerals should be taken. You can take up rigorous sport like football, tennis, badminton to burn calories faster.
