Facts and HOLES in education System

1.If one can write his/her name correctly in any language is considered to be educated or literate.
2.Student politics is also a major issue, as many institutions are run by politicians.
3.Ragging used to be a major problem in colleges.
4.Engineering, medical and other lucrative seats are sometimes sold for high prices and ridden with nepotism and power-play.
5.The presence of a number of education boards (SSC, ICSE, CBSE, IB) leads to non-uniformity.
HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM STRONGER ?

Dear Prabhatji, First of all we should have a knowledgable Education Minister who can understand the difficulties of all students and he should not be "Ungutha Chaap" since nowadays any person can become minister with influence and God fathers in the politics. Once a young man came to Euclid to learn geometry.Having learnt d 1st lesson he asked him "but wat do i gain from it?"Euclid took out a coin n said rather brusquely ,"take it n go thy way;knowledge isnt 4 like of thee."
this incidence is centuries old but things has not changed much.We are giving only a such education to our new guns.Such education can make one literate only but not educated.Education sud be for life,not 4 d livelihood only.Such things we are hearing from many decades.
D system of education has been faulted on many grounds,most of em being as valid as they were decades ago.It must b related to d life n needs of d nation n people's aspiration.it must aim at inculculating among youths d values n lead 2 d full development of d individual's personality n also 2 change d quality of life for him.But since decades a national n result oriented policy is lacking.
It may seem rather odd 2 say so but its nevertheless true that a love of knowledge for its own sake n d desire ...more

students politics include the head of student,,major,groups..this has previeled in all collages including the collages of politicians,,,they run collages in order to get their financial gain to the peak.
ragging is a thing that most of the senior students do to kid the juniors,,,still prevalent in most of the areas,,the rule says students who are ragging can just be pennalised from the institution,
there is a wide range of sold out seats...what is the uses of proffesions in a feild without experience or first class education..
most of the last pointed forms have different types...may be they lead to non uniformity.
education system can be made stronger if we and all the citizens stop the practise of excecuting the holes in the education system....
INDIA IS A IMPROVING COUNTRY..SO AS BESIDES EDUCATIION TOO HAS BEEN IMPROVED A LOT FROM THE OLD AGES..THANK YOU..

Yes, i agree with u...; there are many loopholes in our educational system...; politics and corruption has badly crept in even in educational system....as u've mentioned that they are run by politicians and the seats for lucrative courses are sold for great money...it deprives the poor lot with good merit and calibre....; even reservations are creating a big problem to meritorious students......; unscrupulous and inhuman raggings in educational institutions are stunning.....; plus, there's no uniformity in the courses of the various boards........; hence, the educationists of the country shd sit together, discuss and find out proper and just solutions to these prevailing inequalities and disuniformities......with the help of the govts..........
