I don't forget the past memories . rather bI filter out the bitter memories and nurture the sweet nostalgia . It keeps my memories shining and bring smiles to my heart and soul.
God gave us memories that we might have roses in. Let' not remember bad days; let's remember happy moments.
And even if you were in some prison, the walls of which let none of the sounds of the world come to your senses - would you not then still have your childhood, that precious, kingly possession, that treasure-house of your sweet memories?

Practice the SAMADHI YOG: otherwise the memories of many lives are carried over.
In samadhi ( after having Shaktipat Deeksha,) you remove the impacts you gathered from various past lives.
We store everything in our mind like a CC tv, and therefore we must practice the samadhi every day to wipe off the impressions, so that we don't carry them for our future lives.

U cant lose the memories but with time it becomes possible to be an objective viewer of the past rather than a subjective one...so the sense of loss/hurt goes away..
