Q.
It is believed that Sun God travels from East to West in his chariot with seven horses. Are there some people still believe in It? If not, it is good sign, that science is removing myths of religions. What do you think?

Sai Ram. Belief is different from science. And there is an esoteric meaning for that imagery. I will not share it with you since you have no faith in such matters.

As I feel, those who avoid going into the deep to understand the in-depth meanings of such scripture are just like those doctors belonging to English Medical Science who simply term the disease as an Allergy when they fail to understand the cause of disease find difficulty in recommending the right medicine. In Indian medicine science, there is no such word as Indian science has the answer to all the disease a person can have , whether physical or mental.

We Hindu's still believes. In Astrology Sun is the powerful planet so it's symbol is with 7 Horses.
The physical sun has always fascinated human beings. It "rises" in the east to bring it's warmth, light, and "sets" in the West, plunging the world into darkness with all the associated insecurites and dangers. It was truly a miracle and a most welcomed relief when every morning, the Sun rose from the land of the dead to bring it's light and protection for yet another day.
