Use Karanj oil with camphor . you can get karanj oil from any ayurvedic medical store. take around 3-5 ml of karanj oil and mix 1 tablet of camphor and then apply it on your scalp. keep it overnight.
Take few fresh leaves of neem and add some water to it boil it for some time till water level becomes half of the original. apply it on your scalp leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash with any shampoo with good conditioner.

1.Lemon juice ; This is easiest if you use the lemon juice that comes in squeeze bottles, not fresh lemons. Over a sink, squirt lemon juice directly on your scalp and gently massage the juice in with the tips of your fingers. Make sure you cover your entire scalp to get best results. Let the lemon juice work its wonders for about 15 minutes, then wash your hair as you normally would. If you used enough lemon juice, your scalp shouldn't itch after the first or second treatment. Dandruff may require multiple treatments to the full effect (keep in mind that this is a temporary treatment, repeat this process if you get dandruff again later).
2.Using curd, honey, onion juice ;
Dandruff is actually dry scalp and the pain of the hair. To get rid off you can try a mixture of 2 tbsp of curd and a few drops of honey is rubbed on the scalp half hour before bath and then the hair is washed.Onion juice is massaged on the scalp half hour before bath and then the hair is washed.This really reall ...more

The most important thing during dandruff is to maintain proper hygiene. Keep your scalp clean by washing it regularly and brushing it clean. There are some medicated shampoos that may relieve dandruff.

If you mean kitchen remedies, a paste of fenugreek (methi) seeds applied well into the hair and then washed off is supposed to help. Another involves mixing lime juice into a small cup of curd and applying this thoroughly into your hair, before washing it. Washing hair with tea tree oil is also believed to help.

Apart from this, start following healthy practices. Eat a balanced diet and keep to regular timings to help you fight stress. This will definitely help you to maintain the health of your hair as well as the rest of your body.

Food Habits

If you are suffering from severe dandruff, it is the time to change your food habits. Avoid taking fatty foods, animal proteins, sea foods, dairy products, sugar, chocolates, etc. Also, cut down your daily dose of beverages like coffee and tea. Foods with vitamin C ingredient must also be removed from your diet. Thus, you have to bid goodbye temporarily to oranges, lemons, tomatoes, etc. Get lots and lots of fresh fruits and green vegetables into your diet. Grams and cereals are also beneficial for that healthy diet. Above all, drink sufficient quantity of water.

Home Remedies

-You can prepare some effective mixture at your home for dandruff control.

-Use small amount of cosmetic vinegar and hot water and put all over your scalp. Cover your head with a towel and leave it over night. Do this twice a week for better results.
