Painting has always been my hobby. I want to make it my profession but I don't know how to go about it. Can anyone give me some advice?

There are lots of cources available all places, specifically if you fancy painting and are good at it, check out the commerical /fine arts cources at various reputed institutes like Raheja / Rachana in Mumbai

But paintings need to be sold if not sold you will suffer.

U can develop it with ur jobs also...or u can devote full time to paintings.....u can be professional also....for that u have to join institute like raheja or JJ SCHOOL of arts or nirmala niketan also....

Organise a solo painting exhibition and see the reaction from critics and lay men..
If favourable, go for a specialised course.
The world will open it's door for you.
