Hi! The flab on the upper arm can be banished through cardiovascular exercise. Walk, cycle swim or do aerobics 5-6 days a week for atleast 45 minutes at a brisk non stop pace. Flab is simply fat that burns only through cardiovascular workouts. You can tone & tighten the underlying am muscles by doing triceps exercises like -
1- Overhead Triceps extensions
2- Triceps dips.
You should be able to find a description of these on a fitness website. Do bear in mind that you will need to work the front of the upper arm as well in order to prevent any imbalance & injury to the elblow so also do Bicep Curls.

Many people in India especially women do not use their hands properly and get heavy fat accumulated there. Even in walking people use their legs and not hands. Hands should move properly in rhythm with the legs. have you ever seen a working men/ women in the fields or construction site or hard work area have extra fat?
Even in olden days women used to cook using grinding, pounding etc and were very healthy.

So use your hands and work with it. No other exercise is required. This flab comes mostly for women and men who sit most of the time.

Spot reduction in any one area is difficult. The reduction can be done overall. however for arm flab specific excercise are light weights and push ups, specially the back of the arm .

The back of the upper arm (tricep) is a popular part of the body that ALL women want to get rid of. As you may already know there are numerous exercises women can do to tone and decrease the fat in the back of their upper arms. However, being busy to actually exercise is a common problem with many women these days. So what happens when you cant go to the gym, traveling on the road, or just too busy to do a boat load of exercises?

The solution is to docompound exercises. Compound exercises are exercises in which you work more than one muscle group at a time. For example, doing a simple push up works your chest right? Wellyes and no. While doing a push up the primary muscle group youre working is your chest but the secondary muscle group youre working is the back of your upper arm. This is a great way to get a lot done in less time.
