Years ago British scholar and political economist Robert Malthus predicted about the impending disaster rising population can bring about. He predicted a catastrophe due to population overshooting resources. He emphasized the need for controlling population growth to match the resources. Many countries including China realised the need for it and resorted to measures to check the population. Sadly Indian government(s) is turning a blind eye to this due to political and extraneous considerations. Needless to say the earlier they realize this truth and take effective measures to control the population the better for the country.

Indian were too weak to control demography dependent on the Migrated communities when they invaded India. Now it is too late to control
And we all know what havoc is being created in China. Its one-child-only policy has produced "little emperor" uncontrollable brats

People to be encouraged for birth control. Individuals can be allowed to adopt birth control choosing not to have children their whole life, even before marriageable age, with certain benefits and assured government protection in old age! There is NO NEED that everybody shud have children. We need to have well run old age homes.
