Short sighted indian rulers were eager to court friendship with the English to fight their local enemy countries.... in many parts of the country! They were digging their own grave!

Indians got ruled , no one can rule u without your wish.
the defence was week , kings were to head defence and they were like Kalmadi/Raja of today
