I would cite the case of Amitabh Bachchan....the ABCL organising Miss World was a fiasco...it left him heavily in debt...even his cars and house were mortgaged...his films were flopping left and right...and the great Big B was a shattered wreck...a shadow of his Super Star self.
And then came his stint with the idiot box...the offer from How to Be a Millionaire...Koun Banega Karorepati...for which he was paid the astronomical sum of 1.5 crores per episode.
It was a complete turnaround...all those who had given him up for lost...crowded back again...the streets were desrted when the series was on air...and he managed to pay back ll his debts.
His best efforts in acting came after that...Black...Baghbaan...beutiful movies...and now He strides Like the Colossus...
the best example of ' Rising like the Phoenix from Ashes ' !!
