The best, easist & quickest way for getting divorce is when both the parties file a joint petition for divorce by mutual consent. What all is required in such case is proof of marriage, proof of residence district where you apply for divorce in the Family court, presence of both the parties on the first date of hearing when this petition is being heard & fixed for order. Such divorce can be applied after both the parties have been living separately for a year or more & that too after one year of marriage has passed in general cases but in special circumstances it can be even applied before too but only after seeking special leave from the family court which may allows for this on the ground as it will be the case is one of exceptional hardship to the petitioner or of exceptional depravity on the part of the respondent.
