As Iqbal Seth has said, treat them with respect. Try to see that they are happy and get proper food, rest and entertainment. They are likely to have money since they have retired after years of work. They do not need much money but love and affection.

Aged Parents must be treated with due regards and Respects.
Help them by all means not to feel discomfort to live.
Mostly they needed love - kindness - affection and respects.
They never be allowed to feel they are neglected.
Daily some kind words and wishes will do.

I can give you a letter from them, written to all of us,which is probably self explanatory
Dear son , dear daughter...
The day you find that I have become very old , try to have some patience with me
and try to understand me.
If I get dirty while eating
If I have some difficulty dressing be patient! Remember the hours that I spent teaching you
these things when you were small. ...more
