Detective Maurya is a brand new play written and directed by Makarand Deshpande. One cannot reveal the entire story line but to put it briefly, it is about a detective(Makarand) who witnesses a farmer attempting a suicide. His consciousness asks him to investigate his own life. The play also stars Shekhar Suman and Kavita Lad. The play is regularly show on Sundays at Prithvi Theatre in Juhu(Mumbai) at 6pm and 9pm.
