Indian Institute of Rural Management, Jaipur is an Institute of repute that is recognized by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. IIRM, Jaipur is nationally recognized as a Centre of Excellence in Management Training, Research and Education. The institute organizes numerous short-term management training programs and research studies sponsored by Central/State Governments and the UN/International Agencies.

It is very good institute of its own kind. Moreover it is one of those institute which are off track but still maintained their reputation. If you have converted the call then do go ahead for it. this is one of the best insti of country.

What are you trying to accomplish??? If you want entry into certain departments of the Public Sector- or into some government positions, yeah, it helps. It is also a good foundation, if you want to get involved w/ the UN & ADB- Rural Management is a very niche field, as far as the job market goes.
But if you want to study there to study, understand & hopefully one day- contribute to- the understanding of the rural demography & economic culture and how they interact w/ one another....then nope, you are looking in the wrong place- for that, you better look into a "Juche Library"- we have some in India.
For career? Yes, good place (the one in Jaipur). But as a solutions provider to India's agrarian (rural) demography? Nopes. Wrong place. Go to Juche study center for that.

Its one of the reputed Institutes in the field of Rural Management .
As far as quality is concerned, it would depend on each individual 's
requirements and capacity as well.
