You may approach Registrar for any such proceedings at his office, not the court. Expenses are very minimal...!

There is no marriage court anywhere in our country. Court is not a place where marriages took place. Marriages can be done before Registrar and at the Registration Department. It is applicable to all irrespective of religions. A certificate will be issued by the Registrar office in this regard.
Since there is no court marriage, the question of court fee for court marriage will not arise. But, at Registrar's office, there is some procedure for registration marriages. Both the parties has to fill up the form and sign in the form. Place of residence and age proof are also required. Photo and identity card and witnesses are also required. It will be displayed in the notice board for some time. If no objection is received, the Registrar will perform the marriage. The expenses will be less than Rs.500/-.
