It depends on where you are moving from. If it is the states then you will find everything is a lot more expensive here in london. Everything from transport to food will be at least 30% more than it would in the states...but yet you are not getting 30% more for your money. Service is poor and the streets are not as safe as New York because we have a police force that is totally useless. Their main ambition and priority is to catch motorists exceeding the speed limit by 5 mph......whilst the muggers carry on uninerrupted. If you dont belive me look at some of the online british newspapers and take a look at the headlines.
Britain is now a country run by useless politicians presiding over a toothless Judicial service and policed by less than useless police who could not find the nose on their faces. We lurch from one incompetent saga to another , with nobody in a position of power cabable of sorting things out.
Some come by all means but dont expect too much !
