In First AC very few seats are available total 8 seats and it is closed also. It is meant to journey with privacy and more comfort. In trains the food and beverages also served in these coaches, especially in Rajdhani where fare is significantly higher than other first AC fares. Usually only 3 coupas are there in First AC, i.e. A, B & C. C coupa has only 2 seats in that. It is made for high officials & VIPs to travel or only those who want luxury in trains.
Although faishon of First AC is decreasing and those who can afford First AC they can also travel by flight where time is very less. Only Govt officials used to travel in First AC most of the time. It is also a symbol of status.
