IRDA, expanded as "Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority" is a body which regulates the activities related to Insurance Industry in the country, one of them is ensuring the quality of people who enter it to sell the products of various companies as Advisors or Financial Consultants or agents who are in turn sponsored by companies to sell their products, This is done by way of an exam which is a qualification to sell Insurance Products, and is mandatory for an individual before starting to sell Insurance. This is done to bring about some quality and ensuring that the right products are sold to customers as per their needs.
