Q.

Tendulkar became the first man to breach the 200-run mark in ODIs. Is it not clear proof that he still plenty of cricket left in him? Your views?

There can't be two opinion abt. it that SRT is one of the greatest cricketer to grace the game and define new parameters and yard stick for others, he has raised the marks for others and it would be a dream for others to emulate his feats.Having said that age is taking toll on him and we should not expect more from him , he has entertained us untiringly .

Let us hope to see more such landmarks from him and also hope that it should not be like how Lamp ends, A lamp before extinguish shines brighter then ever before to slowly dim down and allow darkness to suround. For sure SRT will shine like a BRIGHT STAR in cricket's world.

Dear Sir, i do not know what to say about him. He is a truly a legend. He can single handedly destroy the bowling. Even Warne use to have night mare about him , such was his batting. No one at present era seen Don Bradman batting. It is said that when Sachin bats, he resembles the great Don. Even the other great master blaster, Sir Viv Richards have a great opinion about him. then who we are to say about him. It is great that he broke the long standing record of Anwar's record and the first person to score 200 in one day cricket. Moreover, he has broken all the records. I think there is no record pending for him to break. Coming to your point , yes he has still plenty of cricket left in him. but i think when you are in top form , you should retire , it is not that i do not want him to retire but if he retires on top form , people definately praise him. One shudder to think what will be the position of India if the three some , the great china wall, Dravid ( my favourite c ...more
