I never use a neck-tie for the fear of being caught by the tie by any assailant....bcz I 'm a non-compromising person and remain ready for any kind of fight at anywhere .... thatz why my uniform is jean & jacket everywhere.....so that I can carry a self-defensive weapon..... every time.....

The bow tie, ascot tie, bolo tie, and the clip-on tie are some types.... The modern necktie, ascot, and bow tie are descended from the cravat. {german ''Krawatte''} Neckties are traditionally worn with the top shirt button fastened, and the tie knot resting comfortably between the collar points. However, it has become common in recent times for neckties to be worn as a casual item, tied loosely around the neck, nearly always with one or several buttons unfastened.
