If the big economists know the solutions to the perennial problem of poverty and unemployment in our country, then why they cannot solve it especially when they have acted as Finance Minister or the Principal Economic Advisers?

To know the solution is not enough. It is needs a lot of parliamentary proceedings to get it into rolling, after continuous dialogues in both the houses of Parliaments, consents and disconsents of opposition, State level cooperation, approval of financial provision. Because the subject needs a lot of money generation of which is again rested upon the shoulders of the tax payers.

Because such things are politically motivated while decisions are taken... moreover poverty arises where laziness and lethargy exists....

Hello SS,
We all know that we have services of three finance ministers, one of the best teams of FMs at helm of affairs, doing the rounds round the clock for our country. They are fully aware of our limitations as far as delivery system of our country goes. Accountability factor is missing, irrespective of remedial measures and resources are at hand. Believe it, it is our burocracy and foefdom that is undoing our efferts. Mere giving buses with conductors enroute is not enough to get public transport system working. Giving maintenance as well surprise checkup of staff doing duty giving tickets to every passenger too is important for successful service. Similarly, Administrative officials too needs accountability to deliver. Non performer must be ruled out by law. Corruption needs point blank range shots in head.
