Sure, the Cubans grew up hero worshipping Che GUevara and Fidel Castro, but they are doing a lot better WITH SANCTIONS than their carribean / Central / South American counterparts like Jamaica, Honduras, Mexico, Columbia, etc- WITHOUT SANCTIONS. THe Cubans have managed nearly 100% literacy and top class medicare, with a HDI of .81- ACCORDING TO THE UN.

It depends.....

But if you grow up worshipping nation looters as heroes (most ppl who are powerful in post Socialist India), then you have a problem........

Hero worshipping celebrities and entertainment stars is more for the lulz, and this neither has a + or a - impact on the nation...
