RAREST GEM
The world's rarest gem is believed to be painite. The painite is orangish or reddish brown and was first discovered in Burma in the '50s. Within the last couple of years, the source of the two original painite crystals was discovered and now a few hundred faceted stones exist.

A Greek monk Mihallo Toltos never saw a women in his life. When he was born, his mother died and the baby was taken the following day to a monastry atop the Mount Athos. He spent his life among the monks-isolated from women. Even female animals were not allowed to enter the monastry.
